CAPE PRIDE - April 15, 2015
Good morning Cape Coral Employees, Physicians, Volunteers & Auxilians…
Welcome to our DNV Survey Team. Today is Day 2. Please showcase your great work when you meet our surveyors.
• National Volunteer Week – National Volunteer Week, a program established by Points of Light in 1974, is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating to the nation that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals. We would like to take a moment to say thank you to all our volunteers and to tell them how deeply grateful we are to have you for your commitment and talent as a volunteer. Happy Volunteer Week!
• Please join us today between 10:30am – 2pm in the Courtyard or 4:30pm – 7:30pm in the Cafeteria for the Employee Appreciation BBQ.
This question came from one of our team members:
LMHS employees are only allowed to access patient records -- including their own -- when there is a legitimate business reason. Legally, all patient records are the property of LMHS and specific guidelines must be followed before information from those records can be released. If you need to access your own protected health information (or that of a family member) for personal reasons, you must go through the Medical Records department.
I want to hear from you…
What questions do you have that you think your colleagues would like to know?
